The most important opinion is that of the little person actually sleeping on it! My 7-month-old has had this mattress for a week now and seems to be very happy with it. He has always been a good sleeper but had been starting to wake up a couple of times a night on the old mattress which was from my sister's second-hand crib. There was a hard, baby-sized dent in the middle which was also preventing him from sitting up properly in the crib to play with his toys. On this mattress he has slept an average of 10 hours straight each night with no waking up. He not only can sit up easier but has also learned to pull himself to a standing position (which is, I suppose, not always a plus...)
