We used this for our baby's first bassinet (first few weeks?) and travel crib. She grew out of it before 7 months, sleeping with the pad on the bottom (that was like one inch head and foot clearance), she was about 50% on her height. We had no problems with it. It rolls around, which is really convenient. It's size is great- really small so it will fit in a regular size bedroom with a queen bed and other furniture. We were really satisfied with it. It's not too bad to assemble, probably less than 15 minutes. By 8 months we had to get a larger pack and play for a travel crib, which we probably needed by about 5 months. If you're looking for a small first bassinet for those first few months, because of space limitations, this works great for that. After that, you need a pack and play. If you have space for a larger pack n play, get that instead.

We got this for newborn to sleep in our bedroom. We saw the bassinets that were available but I didn't like that the height wasn't adjustable so I thought it limited the duration that we would be able to use it. This is essentially 3 possible heights to use and it is easy to assemble and adjust. We even took this when we had to stay at a family member's house over the holidays and it folded up quickly and took less than 5 minutes to put back together. The pad is a little thin, but it doesn't really seem anything thinner than other full size pack 'n plays. My daughter sleeps just fine on it throughout the night, so unless your baby is super sensitive to pad thickness I wouldn't worry about that.

I got this as a bassinet. I never used it as such. The matress pad is so thin, I didn't think my baby would be comfortable sleeping on it. That, and we decided to cosleep. Now, that my baby is 10 months old, I use it as a play yard. He loves to sit in it and play while I do things that keep me from being able to supervise him closely. It gives me some piece of mind. It is easy to wheel around. It is not a space hogger. I have a small home. It looks easy to clean. We haven't had to so far. He also stands in it and practices getting from one side to another. Pretty useful, fun, and safe. I gave it three stars because I really don't see it as a good bassinet.
